The short version
No VNTY account. No ads. No analytics. No tracking SDK. No developer workout cloud. VNTY handles only the local equipment, workout, permission, and paired-device data needed to provide its features.
VNTY does not send your workout data to a developer-operated server. Equipment records stay in the app's local sandbox, Apple Health data stays under HealthKit permissions, and Watch sync uses Apple's paired-device framework.
No VNTY account. No ads. No analytics. No tracking SDK. No developer workout cloud. VNTY handles only the local equipment, workout, permission, and paired-device data needed to provide its features.
VNTY can store a saved machine's Bluetooth name and identifier, preferences, workout timestamps, equipment identity, and compact session summaries. Those summaries can include supported metrics such as distance, pace, speed, watts, cadence, stroke or step count, resistance, machine calories, source information, estimate flags, and a linked Apple Health workout identifier.
With your permission, VNTY reads and writes supported workout and Health data needed for the mode you choose. This can include workouts, rowing distance and speed, heart rate and active-energy summaries, and effort. HealthKit remains the source of truth, and you can review or revoke access in Apple Health or Settings.
When you use VNTY alongside Apple Fitness+, Fitness+ remains responsible for heart rate, active calories, effort, and Activity Rings. VNTY stores a local equipment summary linked to the matching session. If enabled, eligible rowing distance and speed samples are saved separately to Health; VNTY does not merge into or modify the Fitness+ workout.
VNTY uses Bluetooth to find and connect directly to supported fitness equipment. The app receives the metrics the machine broadcasts and stores the selected equipment locally so it can reconnect. VNTY does not relay that Bluetooth stream to a developer server.
Live relay data and compact completed-workout records can move between your paired Apple Watch and iPhone through Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This is paired-device synchronization, not a VNTY account or backend service.
Bluetooth diagnostics are bounded and kept in memory while the app runs. A report can include timestamps, device names and Bluetooth identifiers, signal details, services, raw equipment packets, decoded metrics, and equipment-provided heart rate when present. VNTY does not query HealthKit for this report. It leaves the app only when you choose to share a Bluetooth report and select a destination.
Each device keeps at most the newest 250 compact workout records. Detailed Fitness+ companion captures keep the newest 20 sessions. Older items roll off automatically. In-memory Bluetooth diagnostics are limited to 200 events and 64 packets and are not written to disk.
You can forget saved equipment, discard eligible companion captures, and revoke Bluetooth or Health permissions in Apple settings. Removing VNTY removes data in that app installation's sandbox. Records already saved to HealthKit remain in Apple Health until you manage or delete them there; the iPhone and Watch apps may need to be removed separately.
Lantea does not sell VNTY workout or equipment data. VNTY does not use it for advertising, ad measurement, cross-app tracking, profiling, or analytics.
Apple processes App Store distribution and purchases. Depending on your Apple settings, Apple may also sync Health data or include app data in device backups. Those Apple services are governed by your settings and Apple's policies; VNTY does not operate them.
If you contact support, Lantea receives the information you choose to send so we can respond. Please do not include Health or diagnostic data unless it is relevant and you intend to share it. We may update this policy as VNTY adds equipment or workout features, and the date above will change when we do.
